I have been increasingly involved with Internet/Intranet Application Development and am looking for a GOOD book that addresses Intranet (NOT Internet) architecture. I am primarily interested in the view from the middleware and above--especially applications. I am NOT looking for a book on how to build a good website--but one that covers the full scope of considerations for small-medium companies (at a minimum). In searching Amazon.com and other sites, I found nothing on this topic newer than 1997! Has the buzzword changed? Should I be looking under e-commerce? However, I am not looking (necessarily) at business-business issues (right now). I am primarily interested in an internal corporate architecture--i.e., an Intranet. I guess I should mention that I am interested in technical issues (I am not looking for a manager's view of architecture here). Where are all of the books? Any help on this matter would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
