Intranet for a hospital depends on how hospital is managed at present.Whether departments are computerized(fully/partially)
Intranet for a Hospital may have Webpages for different departments.
like-personnel department.
-patient records keeping departments etc.
1.First step may be to decide what departments to link.
2.And to decide who will be probably using it.
eg Doctors, management staffs etc.
for doctors-they may need guidance from other doctors,
or may be to refer to reports of a particular patient or to know the condition of patient etc (more like a doctor going for rounds to check their patients)
3.A senior doctor may want to view the medical stores of his/her hospital for details.
4. From the mangement side it mayhave webpages to show predictions for current year (like no. of patients for a year which may help prepartions in advance)
5. Other Informations like accessing common information can also be included.
i know a very few about hospitals.At present i am also doing a similar projects.People Involved more in hospital management can help.
